Take a Photo Tour of the Balcony Gîte

Lagrasse is near both the Mediterranean Sea and Pyrenees mountains, in the Aude department of the Languedoc-Roussillon, which is now part of the larger Occitanie region.

You’ve arrived!

Deep in the countryside, Lagrasse feels peacefully timeless. But this small village, first built around an ancient abbey, still thrives to easily meet all your daily needs. And it’s only a short drive to either Carcassonne or Narbonne for everything else larger cities can provide.

Here you are in the Orbieu River valley, like so many other lucky folks who’ve been crossing that stone bridge since medieval times.
